Our wines

Since 1976, the Venturini Baldini brand has represented a guarantee of superior quality for wines that offer you a delightful piece of Emilia-Romagna. Our wines are produced exclusively from the very best grape harvests, with our team of winemakers and consultants identifying and choosing every single grape to ensure our annual production maintains a higher quality. Despite having a potential yield of above 300,000 bottles, we limit our yearly output to approximately 100,000 bottles by only designating the best grapes for wine production. Venturini Baldini have recently started to work on a harvest of grapes using a traditional wine-making method, the final product of which will be released within the next few years.

Vineyards

The Venturini Baldini vineyards take up approximately a quarter of the company's 150-hectare estate. For the most part, the vines are grown on hilly terrain at a height of between 300-400 metres above sea-level. The rows of grapevines are planted in earth that is full of clay and sand, facing south-east and south-west. The grapes are cultivated using organic methods and produce around 8000 kg per hectare, voluntarily limited to preserve a standard of quality for our grapes. Aside from the most famous Lambrusco varieties like Grasparossa and Salamino, you'll also find the aromatic Malvasia Bianca di Candia, Pinot Nero, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Grigio.
